(b) 9.15am-11.15am: Managing your group, Governance, Roles & Conflict (Rotary Room)

Looking at how your group works, dynamics, roles, resolving issues. Workshop case studies on conflict. With: Lynne Wilkins Bizworx.

11.15am-11.30am Morning tea:

11.35am-1pm: Practical Planning & Sustainable Strategies (Rotary Room)

How to plan ahead, keeping your group and project sustainable, vision, mission statement & reporting. With: Lynne Wilkins- Bizworx

1-1.45pm: Organic locally-sourced Lunch

Workshops:

Getting the most out of meetings, people, reaching goals, setting time frames, making things happen. With Michelle Frank, Agenda to Action.

(d) 2- 4pm: Getting into the Media (Rotary Room)

What makes a good story? Angles, communication. How to advertise your events, news, and promote your group. With Peta Goldsworthy- Manager of Communcation at Waikato Univeristy & Reporter Jeff Neems - Waikato Times.

4pm - 4.30pm Networking & afternoon tea.
